Who We Are
Our website address is: https://sandiego-flooded.com. San Diego Flood Services (also known as Flood Service Now) is an independent, 24/7 emergency dispatch agency based on master plumbing roots established with SDP&D in 2004.
24/7 Dispatch & Liability Disclaimer
San Diego Flood Services operates exclusively as a professional dispatch hub. Our mission is to facilitate the rapid connection between property owners and IICRC-trained emergency first responders.
- Independent Contractors: All technicians, plumbers, and restoration experts dispatched through our service are independent business entities.
- Limitation of Liability: Once an emergency job is turned over to a responding field technician or contractor, San Diego Flood Services (and its management, including Chuck and Shelly) holds no liability for on-site workmanship, contractual agreements, or physical repairs.
- Service Disputes: Any warranties or disputes regarding the physical restoration process must be settled directly with the specific service provider who performed the work.
Service Timing and Dispatch Estimates
1. The “Within the Hour” – (60 Minutes) Standard: San Diego Flood Services prides itself on rapid response coordination. Our target for emergency water extraction is an arrival within the hour of taking the initial service call. This window begins once the dispatch coordinator has gathered all necessary property and insurance information and has officially assigned a technician to the lead.
2. Factors Beyond Our Control: While we maintain a 15-minute dispatch protocol, physical arrival times are subject to conditions beyond the reasonable control of a dispatch center, including but not limited to:
- Traffic & Infrastructure: Heavy congestion, Sig Alerts, or road construction on San Diego County arterials (I-5, I-15, I-805, Hwy 78).
- Environmental Conditions: Severe weather events or regional flooding that increases service demand.
- Force Majeure: Vehicle mechanical failure or other unforeseen logistical impediments.
3. Limitation of Liability: As an independent dispatch network, San Diego Flood Services coordinates with third-party contractors and IICRC-certified technicians. We are not liable for incidental delays or the specific performance of on-site crews. A delay in arrival beyond the 60-minute target does not constitute a breach of service agreement, provided that “best efforts” for dispatch were executed by our coordination team.

Emergency Response & Capacity Disclaimer
Regional Disaster & Capacity Disclaimer In the event of large-scale regional disasters, “Acts of God,” or catastrophic geological events (including but not limited to earthquakes, tsunamis, or widespread flooding), the following additional terms apply:
- Priority Dispatching: During regional emergencies, service requests may exceed available personnel. We operate on a priority basis, focusing on existing clients and high-risk structural emergencies.
- Infrastructure Failure: While our 60-minute standard remains our target, regional damage (road closures, utility failures, or communication outages) may delay or prevent arrival.
- Right to Refuse Service: San Diego Flood Services reserves the right to refuse service to any party at our sole discretion. This occurs if a job site is deemed unsafe for technicians, if the scope exceeds current resources, or if regional conditions make deployment unfeasible.
- Emergency Acknowledgment: By contacting our dispatch line, you acknowledge that we are a private entity and not a government-funded first responder or emergency management agency. Our role is strictly the coordination and deployment of available private resources.
